Hugh W. Randall, Jr., MD is a Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. In order to remain on the cutting edge of his field of expertise Dr. Randall re-certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to his practice, Dr. Randall is an Adjunct Professor at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) in Harrogate, TN.
Dr. Randall earned his Medical Degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He completed an Internship and Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University and Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Randall was honored as Chief Administrative Resident while at Emory University and Affiliated Hospitals.
Dr. Randall has received numerous awards and honors throughout his OB/GYN career, including Distinguished Chair Emeritus at Emory University, Distinguished Service Award from the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, and Outstanding Faculty Award from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has served as the President of the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society; Vice Chairman of the Georgia General Assembly's Conference on Access to Health Care for Mothers and Children in Atlanta, Georgia; and numerous consultantships, committee memberships, high ranking administrative appointments, and academic and professional appointments.
Dr. Randall's research focused on high risk obstetrics. He has received an impressive amount of grants for his research. Dr. Randall's numerous research projects are published in peer-reviewed journals. He is a sought-after lecturer, seminar presenter, and visiting professor.
Dr. Randall is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. He is an affiliate member of prestigious Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
